Extreme Home Makeover- CSN Edition

Maybe it's because we have three birthdays and Christmas in a period of four months or the recent addition of a tent and tunnel system that has taken over my living room- but I'm starting to get a serious case of cabin fever. What little neutral "adult space" I have has been taken over by plastic toys that are loud in color and even louder in sound! Yay for CSN stores to the rescue!! Have any of you ever checked them out? I have. Let me tell you- AMAZING!! Its retail therapy online shopping at its finest. 200 stores all accessible from one convenient location. My goal with a little help from you is to help me scope out some Modern Office Furniture. Tables, lamps, chairs, artwork, anything! In exchange for you giving me your much valued opinion, CSN has agreed to give one of you a $25 dollar gift certificate to any of their 200 stores.

One lucky reader will be chosen at random on February 4th. To enter this giveaway, 1) leave me a comment stating the name of an item you think I should check out. For an additional entry, leave a comment 2) by becoming, or if you already are, a follower of my Hilarious Exhausting and Overwhelming Life. One separate comment for each entry please! Don't forget to leave your email in the comment if it is not accessible from your profile. Thanks again and Good Luck!

*all opinions of CSN are my own and I have not been compensated in anyway for my honest opinion*

Before Motherhood...

Before I became "Mom" I used to eat at restaurants that didn't have crayons or serve chocolate milk in a cup with a lid and a funky straw. The menus did not show the prices. The titles of the meals were enough to make your mouth water. You also had to have a basic understanding of Spanish/French/Italian/Japanese etc to be able to order and not sound like an ignorant American. More than one course. Complex tastes and vibrant colors. You had more options in wine than you did in actual food. It was like Food Porn.   *sigh*

Today was a "snow day" for the kids. I ate oatmeal for breakfast. Mac and Cheese for lunch AND dinner. Because thats all the wee men could agree on. Again... *sigh*

I miss Food Porn.

At least the Mac and Cheese was organic...
