Military Monday Blog Hop

I just wanted to give a quick shout out to all of the followers I acquired today from the Military Monday Blog Hop. I really appreciate the comments and kind words that have been left! I had stumbled upon Marine Parents blog last week and was hooked. I'm not a Military Spouse but my Sig-O is not here with me. 550 miles does not compare to the husband/wife that is serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc but the pain of not having him with me is still very real for myself and my children. These fellow bloggers understand that and have welcomed me into their cozy little corner of the internet with open arms. I truly appreciate it.

A Thought

I wholeheartedly enjoy writing. It is a skill that improves with practice, and, although I may never achieve that perfect rhythm and rhyme, it is good that I am free to express myself, and, indeed, it is a necessity in keeping a free society free. It is therapeutic and helps gets one’s thoughts together. This is my place to do that. I am free to say what I want, when I want, about whatever I am thinking at that moment.
